He struggled to find the entrance which is located deep in the jungle with rugged terrain, away from the main road and not be seen with Google Earth. Thanks to his guidance, the expedition went deep into the cave photography, surveying and collecting scientific data. Kang Ho describes: "when entered the store simply feel there is always a cool breeze blowing speed in the cave, the wind hissed through the air heard cliffs ...".

2. Can accommodate a 40-storey building

Hang Son Doong has a width of 150 m, 200 m high, at least 5 km. The actual length of the cave may be even deeper than the scientists recorded. However, the explorers of the Royal Association of British Cave can not go out of the cave depth due to technical limitations.

In addition, some sections inside the cave Son Doong size to 140 mx 140 m, including 14 m high stone columns. Photographer Carsten Peter used to take a photo recorded cave section width of about 91.44 m, 243.84 m-high roof of the cave, which means we can accommodate caught a 40-storey high building inside.
